Origins

Cubo Futurism is an art movement that emerged in Russia in the early 20th century. It was a fusion of Cubism and Futurism, and was particularly prominent from 1912 to 1914. This style was famous for its geometric forms, fragmented planes, and dynamic compositions. It aimed to capture the energy and movement of the modern industrial society. Artists associated with Cubo Futurism include David Burliuk, Kazimir Malevich, and Vladimir Mayakovsky.
