Decoupage

Decoupage is a visual style that emerged in the 18th century and gained popularity in the 19th century. It involves the art of decorating surfaces by applying cutouts of printed images or patterns onto objects and then coating them with layers of varnish. This technique originated in France and became particularly famous during the Victorian era. It is known for its intricate and delicate designs that often depict floral motifs, nature scenes, and romantic themes.
