Outsider Art

Outsider Art is a style of art created by artists who exist outside the mainstream art world. It is characterized by its raw and unconventional aesthetic, often created by self-taught or marginalized individuals who have little or no formal art training. This style gained recognition in the mid-20th century with the emergence of Jean Dubuffet's 'art brut' concept, which celebrated the authenticity and unique vision of artists operating outside traditional artistic boundaries.
