Origins

The Obey visual style, popularized by street artist Shepard Fairey in the early 2000s, features bold graphics, propaganda-inspired imagery, and a color palette dominated by red, black, and cream. This style gained fame through Fairey's iconic 'Hope' poster created for Barack Obama's presidential campaign in 2008.
